| Health science programs provide instruction in postsecondary patient care assisting for students who desire employment in the allied health area. Following the dual enrollment guidelines, students earn both high school elective credits toward graduation and postsecondary credit from the community college. Students participate in clinical experiences at a nursing home and a local hospital. Students completing the program, are prepared to take the national Certified Nursing Assistant exam. |
